We’re excited to welcome Kieran Davies, the newest member of the Synermetric team. Kieran brings with him a psychology background and lots of enthusiasm, creativity, and drive. He has made a great impact already in the short time he’s been with us. We are so happy to have him on our team.
So we can all get to know Kieran a little better, we asked him to answer the following six questions:
1. How did you first learn about Synermetric?
Funnily enough, it was through my mum that I first became aware of Synermetric. The son of a colleague had previously worked at Synermetric and had nothing but positive things to say about the company, so he kindly made the introductions and here we are!
2. What is your role at Synermetric?
My role as Business Development Coordinator is to focus on growing Synermetric as a business by building relationships with our existing and future clients. By developing these partnerships, and in turn learning as much as possible about the needs of each customer, I aim to help Synermetric curate solutions for selection, individual, and organisational development challenges which most suit our clients.
3. What are you most looking forward to about working at Synermetric?
There's so much I’m looking forward to it's hard to narrow it down! On a personal note, I’m really looking forward to learning as much as I can from the expertise we have within our team and refining the skills needed to be effective in this industry. I also feel extremely excited to be part of a young and enthusiastic team who are all looking to solidify Synermetric's reputation as a company who consistently dedicate themselves to providing quality service in every project. These are exciting times!
4. Summarise yourself in 3 words?
Easy-going, Caring, Imaginative (that might be 4...)
5. What’s your biggest ambition?
I don't know if I have one overriding ambition, or rather lots of different ones. In the long term I would love to one day build a business of my own, perhaps working as a performance psychologist in sport, business, or a field which positively affects people's lives such as healthcare. In the short term I would love to experience working abroad and living in a different culture. Somewhere with a little more guaranteed sunshine would be nice!
6. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I suppose I’m not too dissimilar from most young people with how I like to spend my spare time. I'm very passionate about my sport, so I play a lot of football throughout the year whilst trying to squeeze a few more rounds of golf in alongside. I'm also a big music fan, so I enjoy getting the guitar out and jotting some music down as well as going to see live acts when I can. Really, any scenario where you've got good friends, good music, and a beer sounds like a good way to spend your free time to me!
